KYC for holders of physical shares
SEBI requires holders of securities in physical form to furnish KYC details — PAN, nomination, contact details, bank account details and specimen signature — to the company's RTA. Missing details can affect dividend payment and service requests.
The standard forms (the ISR series) and specific requirements are set out in SEBI's circulars and applied by each RTA, so always confirm the current versions.

How IEPF Assist can help
- Explaining what your RTA requires
- Reviewing forms before submission
- Follow-up with the RTA
We are an independent consultancy. We help you prepare, organise and follow up — the decision on your request always rests with the company, the Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA), the depository or the relevant authority.
Expected stages and possible delays
We cannot promise a completion date, because processing depends on third parties. Common reasons for delay include:
- RTA processing time
- Mismatches with PAN records
- Postal delays
