Who we are
IEPF Assist ("we", "us") is an independent consultancy providing procedural and documentation assistance for IEPF claims and shareholder services in India. Website: iepfassist.in. Contact: info@iepfassist.in.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), the service you are interested in, company name and approximate number of shares (optional), and the description you write. We also record the page you enquired from, campaign parameters in the URL (such as utm tags), and a one-way hashed form of your IP address for spam and abuse prevention.
We do not ask for PAN, Aadhaar, demat login details, bank statements or other sensitive identity documents through the website form. Please do not type them into the form. If we later need documents, we will tell you the secure way to share them.

We rely on your consent, given when you tick the consent box on our form, and on our legitimate need to respond to a request you made.
Who sees your information
Your enquiry is stored on our hosting provider's servers and is accessible only to authorised IEPF Assist personnel through a password-protected admin area. Notification emails are sent through our email provider. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies only (for example, to remember a cookie choice and to keep administrators signed in). Optional analytics and advertising technologies, such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels, load only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and only once the website owner has configured them. You can decline, and you can clear your choice by clearing site data in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, to handle any resulting engagement, and to meet legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed admin passwords, rate limiting and audit logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct or erase it, to withdraw your consent, and to address a grievance. Write to info@iepfassist.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The website is not intended for children. Where a claim concerns a minor, it should be raised by a parent or guardian.

We link to official websites such as those of the IEPF Authority, MCA, SEBI, NSDL and CDSL. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
