How to Understand an IEPF Claim Status

What the different stages of an IEPF claim generally mean and what to do at each.

Tracking with your SRN

Your acknowledgement carries a Service Request Number (SRN). Use it to follow the claim on the portal and quote it in all correspondence.

What the stages generally mean

  • Filed — the form has been submitted online.
  • With the company — the company's Nodal Officer is verifying your claim against records and documents.
  • Query / deficiency — more information or documents are needed.
  • Accepted or approved — the authority has accepted the claim; credit follows.
  • Rejected — the claim could not be accepted; reasons are recorded and a fresh claim may be possible.

Status wording changes

Portals change status labels from time to time. Treat this list as general; rely on the portal's own definitions.

Frequently asked questions

My status has not changed for weeks. What can I do?
Contact the company's Nodal Officer first, with your SRN and proof of dispatch of documents, then the IEPF Authority's helpdesk.
